The 1St- Edition appeared in folio in 1644. Bound in a acceptable 1/2 leather binding with sprinkled boards, spine with raised bands and gilt lettering. A fine work of this influential poet who was inspired by (a.o.) Jacob Cats, P.C.Hooft and Joost van den Vondel, and also has set the first paces to improve the Dutch literary climate in the so called "Golden Age".
