W. engr. title (numbered 1) and 7 further engr. pls. representing fine engraved coats of arms consisting of a blank shield, surrounded by elaborate floral ornaments and scrollwork, crowned by a helmet with a closed visor. Plate 1 serves as title page and plate 8 with caption 'Vanitas vanitatum et omnia vanitas'. 2 lines of engr. text below the image: 'Hoe meer geswier hoet hooger schijnt En al de glants als roock verdwijnt'. Bound in blue paper covers last quarter of the 19th century (Upper cover title in ink.). (1 lf. (recto w. owner's inscr. in ink 'Ph. pe Mijs, Den 1 Juniis 1870') , 8 lvs., 1 lf.
