DSB III, 294/7: Sabin 48166M; Revier 327; Babson, 229: "Dr. Clarke became involved in the controversy with Leibnitz when the latter warned Caroline, Princess of Wales (to whom the book is dedicated) against the atheism of Newton, whose God he said was merely a super-mechanician. Clarke warmly defensed Newton. The Leibnitz papers are in French and English on opposite pages." Not in Gray: First ed.
