'In 1696 the 68 year old physician in ordianry to the English King, Th. Millington, called Cyprianus to England to have himself freed from a bladder stone. This operation was described by Cyprianus some years later in 'Epistola historiam exhibens ...'(London, 1700; Amsterdam 1707 (French transl); Naples 1727... Not before 1700 Cyprianus wrote down the history of a very rare case of extra uterine pregnancy [here offered] in which he removed the foetus after 21 months: 'Epistola historiam exhibens foetus humani post XXI menses ex uteri tuba...
